Mesh can be used for all patients except infants, children, pregnant women, and patients with an infected application area who are candidates for hernia repair pasty, chest wall reconstruction, traumatic or surgical wounds. It can also be used for other fascia surgery procedures requiring non-absorbable support material.
The product is designed for usage by surgeons having the necessary skills and experience to perform the necessary medical procedures.
The mesh must be shaped, cut to size, and fixed to accommodate the posture, weight, and anatomical patient’s position. The careful attention to the suture/brace/staple placement and space between them will help prevent undue strain or tear between the mesh material and connective tissue. For the best results it is recommended to place suture/brace/staple 1/4" or 6.5 mm from the mesh edge and material.
