Composite endoprostheses for inguinal hernia surgery

The TAPP procedure (transabdominal preperitoneal plasty) is a gentle and safe operation for an inguinal hernia removal.
The used polypropylene is – a lightweight soft monofilament polypropylene.
The endoprosthesis is partially covered with a mesh-shaped REPEREN to prevent the formation of adhesions with the infectious agent.

It is an implant for the inguinal hernia treatment by laparoscopic access according to the TAPP method. It is made of lightweight polypropylene, has a trapezoidal REPEREN coating, which prevents the adhesion formation with the spermatic cord structures, arteries and nerves in the area of their contact with the mesh.

- 1. ЭThe endoprosthesis is made using the lightweight anti-shrink polypropylene with macroporous weaving.
- 2. The endoprosthesis has the inscription "DOWN" for the correct positioning of the visceral side. The inscription should be located according to the direction of the patient's legs.
- 3. Trapeze from REPEREN is designed to prevent adhesions with the spermatic cord structures, arteries and nerves in the area of their contact with the mesh, as well as for more reliable “triangle of doom” closure.

Surgical mesh is an endoprosthesis designed for the abdominal wall recovery after hernia excision surgery. It is used to strengthen the anterior abdomen wall. It is produced by interlacing non-twisted polypropylene threads that can take root in the human body. The special weave gives the mesh elasticity. The implant, which is able to stretch easily, does not interfere with the natural contraction of the muscles.
"Reperen" is a spatially cross-linked polymer, which is synthesized from methacrylic oligomers.
Implants produced using "Reperen" guarantee the adhesion absence and prevent mesh shrinkage, which ensures the implant biostability and biocompatibility and the absence of complications in the postoperative period.
